Our DEJIMA Base is also one of those RV parks.

Tourist Information Around ‘DEJIMA Base’

Within walking distance from DEJIMA Base is Lake Kasumigaura, the second-largest lake in Japan, surrounded by numerous attractive tourist spots.

For example:

Lake Kasumigaura has well-maintained roads around it, allowing you to enjoy the lakeside scenery by walking, cycling, or driving.
The lake is home to various fish, making it a great spot for fishing. (Please follow the rules and purchase a fishing permit. For more details, click here.)
Less than a 10-minute drive away, there are facilities such as Arakaki Park, an aquarium, and a history museum.
About 5 minutes from there, across the Kasumigaura Bridge, is the roadside station “Tama-tsukuri.”
A 15-minute drive further will take you to “Aso Onsen Shiraho-no-Yu,” where you can enjoy a hot spring bath while watching a beautiful sunset.
From July to October, you can also enjoy a sightseeing sailboat, “Hobikibune.”

Introduction to ‘DEJIMA Base’ Facilities

Our facility has the following unique features that are not found in other RV parks.

A free-to-use common space with free Wi-Fi. This space can be used for workcations or as a resting area after sightseeing, based at DEJIMA Base. (Private use is available for a fee. Available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.)

In collaboration with our co-tenant, Ishiken Kogyo, you can take a free tour of the factory where kei truck camper shells are manufactured.

Of course, we have the following facilities that meet the requirements of an RV park.

A 15A single outlet is available for use.

We provide two types of garbage bags for combustible and non-combustible waste. The basic fee includes the use of electricity and other facilities.

Reservation Method

Reservations are generally accepted through the RV park’s reservation website.
*However, if the RV park is fully booked, reservations may still be possible depending on the size of your vehicle. In such cases, we accept email inquiries at (info@ws-ibaraki.com).
