The SUSHI STYLE Take HANABI has made a spectacular appearance in the fullness of time!
A camper is a wonderful mobility vehicle that is specialized for travel and camping and can be a great help in times of disaster.
However, it is also true that they tend to be positioned as second cars because of the heavy footwork required to use them as first cars in everyday life or for work….
Based on our experience of having ridden in 10 different campervans over the past 10 years and having reviewed more than 100 campervans in the world, we have produced a campervan that can be used every day, covering not only travel and camping, but also daily life, work, transportation, and other “what if” situations. Kenken & Yamame’s “HANABI” points of interest!
1.Left side panel with large opening for both play and work
If you are going to go to the trouble of camping in a camper, you want to spend your time relaxing and quickly setting up and taking down!
With the HANABI model, the roof and table pop up in seconds and can be deployed in auto-camping style! All you have to do is pull out the chairs and you’re ready to toast!
Also, getting large items in and out is easy! Whether it’s transporting storage boxes or sofas you buy for everyday use, or taking out your road bike, the usability that only a large opening can provide is right there!
From here, two people can load and unload large items together, which will be quite useful for daily use! Of course, people can come and go as well!
2.Side entrance that contributes to everyday use and interior layout
The HANABI model has both side and rear entry!
By allowing side entry and exit, it is possible to block the rear entrance, which makes the interior layout more versatile!
In terms of daily use, the side doors open horizontally, making it easy to store your purchases even in narrow parking lots, and since they are almost the same height as the cargo bed, heavy items can easily be placed on them!
Personally, I’m excited just by the fact that so many places can be opened! And if I can go in and out from there, it will be a great help to me when I get angry with Ken, because I will have more escape routes! （LOL!)
3.Rear camping window for increased practicality & ruggedness
Rear windows are camper windows!
Not only does it look more rugged and cool, but all HANABI windows are screened, so you can ventilate from anywhere with a ventilator!
With a camper window, you can say goodbye to the days of fearing an insect infestation! Ken has kissed a stink bug at bedtime in the past, but he doesn’t have to worry about it anymore.
4.It can be used on a daily basis, yet has a large interior headroom.
The height of the car is also very important for daily use!
The height is set at a height that makes it easy to fit in drive-throughs, multi-level parking garages, and carports at home, and also allows for a spacious interior even with the pop-up roof closed!
There are places where you can’t raise the roof, and there are weather conditions where you can’t raise the roof, so we paid special attention to this!
Of course, with the roof up, the interior height is 210cm and the bed length is 190cm, creating a huge space on top of the light truck, so even two adults can spend a spacious and relaxing time!
Ken’s height of 185cm can never be changed, so I thought it would be difficult to have a comfortable space in a light car, but the HANABI model is comfortable for Ken! I am comfortable too! Everyone is happy!
5.A bed revolution for mini-vehicle based campers! Hanging Bed System
HANABI’s quintessential hanging bed! For use at work or when carrying luggage: …… This idea was born from the idea that it is difficult to use furniture and beds fixed type!
It would be a waste if it could not be loaded on a kei-truck, so to take advantage of its strength, we hung the bed and assumed it could be loaded with tatami-sized items as is!
Of course, the cargo bed can be easily removed, so the truck can function as a truck that can be carried even on rainy days!
In addition, the suspended bed can be laid out in a variety of ways!
Seven different layouts… There may be more to be discovered in the future! You can enjoy the feeling of a new truck as many times as you like, changing the layout at once depending on the number of people using it, the season, or when you get bored!
Indeed, just by changing the layout, you can completely change the usability of the car, making it feel exactly like a new car again and again! Whether you are bored or just want to enjoy the daily changes, you will be satisfied!

6.No expense has been spared in lighting and ventilation, allowing you to feel nature even when you are indoors.
The interior equipment is also quite complete.
In particular, the ventilator, which can be used whether the pop-up roof is closed or open, is excellent, and the strongest ventilation capacity in the camper world makes the interior comfortable at any time!
Through the skylight, which no one can peek through, you can watch the rain or snow fall and the starry sky, and you can relax and enjoy your time.
7.The “fire” in HANABI is the fire of a wood stove!
The wood stove is another symbol of the HANABI model! In recent years, the culture of having a wood-burning stove inside a campervan has become quite popular in Japan, and we were so fascinated by the splendor of the wood-burning stove that we decided to install it!
The body itself, which serves as the camper’s foundation, is vulnerable to heat, so we held many meetings and conducted many experiments before producing this model!
