We’re looking for an influencer to promote our custom-made parts for kei trucks

Workcation Style Ibaraki LLC (hereafter, WSI) will give away one of our NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck toppers, which is currently only available for rent and purchase in Japan.

While WSI is thrilled to see increasingly more kei trucks driven in all parts of the world, this offer is currently limited to kei-truck owners who live either in the United States or Australia.

If you’re interested, carefully read the terms and conditions below before submitting an application.

Application Guidelines

1. You are an owner of a kei truck that was officially launched in Japan no earlier than 1999 – of these, only owners of the following manufacturers’ kei trucks (including the models listed in parentheses) are eligible:
   ・Daihatsu Hijet Truck (S200、S201、S210、S211、S500、S510)
   ・Suzuki Carry Truck (DA52、DB52、DA62、DA63、DA65、DA16)
   ・Honda Acty Truck (HA6、HA7、HA8、HA9)

   ・Subaru Sambar Truck（TT1、TT2）
   ・Mitsubishi Minicab Truck (U61、U62)
   * Hijet Truck Jumbo and Super Carry variants are excluded
   ** Kei trucks that have been converted into panel vans, dump trucks, or do not have three-way opening truck beds are not compatible with our NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck toppers
   *** Applicants who own rebadged kei trucks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
2. You manage at least one social media account (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and/or TikTok, etc), and for a period of six months after taking receipt of your NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper you will agree to upload at least one post with a static image(s) and text message per week, and upload at least one video with commentary per month that showcases your kei truck fitted with a NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper 
3. The winning applicant will receive a NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper free of charge (this product is scheduled to retail for 600,000 JPY [excl. tax] in overseas markets), but he/she will be responsible for all associated customs duties and shipping costs  
4. The winning applicant must agree to participate in at least one interview with WSI, either done in person or online sometime in August 2024 or later
5. The winning applicant agrees to give WSI permission to reuse all social media posts mentioned in clause 2, and permission to use the content of any interview(s) mentioned in clause 4 free of charge*
   * To be used in case studies highlighting our products being used overseas

General Guidelines

• The proposed timeline from the application period, through to selecting the successful applicant, and up until delivery of the NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper can be found below:
  • Application Period: Until 30 June 2024
  • Selection Period: 1–14 July 2024
    • WSI will contact the successful applicant within a few days after the end of the selection period 
    • The successful applicant will need to tell WSI their postal address, and other contact details (ie, phone number)
    • The successful applicant will then be informed of the exact shipping costs involved
  • Delivery Period: 15–31 July 2024
    • WSI will ship a NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper via insured air freight (as opposed to time-consuming sea freight)
  • Interview: From 1 August 2024
    • The successful applicant agrees to participate in at least one interview with WSI (which can also be done remotely if needed)
• If, after shipment, it is discovered that the successful applicant doesn’t (or cannot) meet the requirements stated in these guidelines, the NINJA STYLE all-purpose soft kei-truck topper must be returned immediately to WSI at the applicant’s expense
• WSI bear no responsibility in the event that applicants experience any loss due to an unsuccessful application, changes to the shipment schedule, and/or the use (receipt) of our products

Addendum added 6/22/2024 regarding Honda Acty Trucks

We have received so many inquiries from owners of HA1/2/3/4 Honda Acty Trucks.
Although it was not in our original plan, we will produce one prototype of the corresponding model.

We will not be able to ship it until October 2024 or later, but we look forward to receiving applications from those who are still interested.

Please note that except for the above changes, the items described in the “Application Guidelines” and “General Guidelines” apply in the same manner.

• Your full name
• Your address (the state and country where you currently live will suffice)
• Contact details (an email address will suffice)
• Your social media account(s) and number of followers
• A message listing the reason(s) why you should be chosen as the successful applicant
• The manufacturer, name, and model of the kei truck(s) you own
• A photo of your kei truck(s)
